    Introduction

    Founded in 1971, NCUE has evolved into a comprehensive university known for its diverse degree programs and renowned teacher training. It has received the Ministry of Education’s Teaching Excellence Project award for over a decade and continues to excel under the 5-year Higher Education Sprout Project. NCUE has also been recognized with the MoE’s award for excellence in international student guidance and counseling.

    Jinde Campus

    Spanning 24.9 hectares, it is located at the foot of Bagua Mountain on the outskirts of Changhua City. The area offers excellent convenience, with amenities such as the popular “Bento Street” lined with local eateries, as well as convenience stores, supermarkets, and grocery shops.

    Situated just 2.5 kilometers from Changhua Railway Station—about a seven-minute drive—the campus provides easy accessibility. A MOOVO bike rental station at the entrance further enhances student commuting options.

    Behind the Seventh Student Dormitory, the NCUE Ecological Teaching Trail, a 300-meter scenic path, serves as a branch of the Bagua Mountain Great Buddha Scenic Trail. It offers quick access to well-known attractions such as the Great Buddha of Bagua Mountain and the Skywalk, making it a favorite spot for both students and visitors.

    Baoshan Campus

    Baoshan Campus spans 26.2 hectares and sits at the northern peak of Bagua Mountain, approximately 100 meters above sea level, offering a panoramic view of Changhua City.

    The campus is home to several key facilities, including the College of Engineering, the College of Management, the Teaching Buildings I and II, dormitories, and the Innovation and Incubation Center.

    Located about 4 kilometers from Jinde Campus and 3 kilometers from Changhua Railway Station, Baoshan Campus is conveniently connected to Jinde Campus by a 2.5-kilometer scenic hiking trail.

  • Camp Activity

    The program is designed for those interested in learning Mandarin and exploring Taiwanese culture through firsthand experiences of Taiwan’s unique offerings.

    Chinese Language Classes

    The camp activities include multiple Chinese language courses, covering basic yet practical conversational phrases, along with an introduction to Taiwanese culture. Participants also engage in hands-on experiences of local traditions, such as calligraphy and paper cutting.

    Field Trips

    The camp organizes day trips, taking participants to nearby attractions and shops, allowing them to practice their Chinese in real-life situations and experience local daily life.

    Cultural Experience

    Camp participants will be guided to historic sites to listen to expert narrations or engage in hands-on activities, gaining a deeper understanding of Taiwan's local culture.

  • Program Eligibility

    The camp program will be organized upon request by overseas schools and custom-designed to meet their needs. Participants may include students, faculty members, or staff.

  • Registration

    The camp program will be arranged through coordination between faculty members of the overseas institution and the camp organizer at NCUE. Details such as the schedule, fees, and number of participants will be discussed and confirmed accordingly. To ensure the health and safety of all participants during the program, relevant personal and medical information may need to be provided in advance.
